Financial Scholarships
Great Lakes American College of Healthcare Executives (GLACHE) is a chapter of American College of Healthcare Executives (ACHE). The mission of GLACHE is to be the professional membership society for healthcare leaders to promote high ethical standards and conduct; to advance leadership excellence through professional development and networking services; and to promote the mission of ACHE; To advance our members and healthcare management excellence and ACHE’s Vision; To be the preeminent professional society of leaders dedicated to improving health.
GLACHE covers a large portion of Michigan and would like to support our members in meaningful ways. GLACHE embraces diversity and values differences between people including those: of different races, ethnicities, genders, ages, religions, disabilities, and sexual orientation with differences in education, personalities, skill sets, experiences, knowledge bases and geography. Is an inclusive environment that fosters a collaborative, supportive, and respectful environment that increases the participation and contributions of all.
To hold true to our values, we would like to offer students, early careerists, mid-careerist, and other members the opportunity to find support in their healthcare profession. The funds for this scholarship are for GLACHE members that are experiencing hardship or needing support with their career.
If you are interested in receiving the scholarship for additional support such as membership dues, Board of Governors Exam prep material, education event, and more please fill out the application below. The application process will be open the month of January and July, applicants can apply two times per year. The Board of Directors will review your application and reach out to you with a decision by the end of the application month. After being approved for the scholarship, GLACHE will reimburse the amount approved after the requested event or funding opportunity.
